Denehurst Guest House - Adults Only - Windermere

This guest house suits me perfectly with its free Wi-Fi, tv, and adults-only policy. The staff helped me with local tips during my first visit. I highly recommend it for a lovely holiday!

We liked being here. The place was clean and relaxing, had very, very nice and pleasant staff who provided excellent breakfast n service. The breakfast was exceptional and gorgeous with plenty of great fresh fruit, coffee, toast and cereal.

Ken and Cindy were friendly and. The breakfast was next level, Cindy's cooking is a game changer. We also loved the cozy, unique decor in our room that really added personality to our stay.

It was a bit on the pricier side but worth every penny.

A Good Stay with Warm Hospitality

We enjoyed two wonderful nights in a charming superior double room. Ken and Cindy provided thoughtful service, including a lovely tea to unwind upon our arrival. The breakfasts were a highlight, uniquely delicious and plentiful. Don't miss out on their personalized hospitality. It makes a difference!

Our room was super cozy and clean, seriously comfy beds and all the cute touches like sweet treats and nice toiletries. The sash window was a dream, letting in fresh air at night. Loved the decor too, it felt really homey and inviting. Just perfect after a long day out!

Cozy and Cute Stay

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Ken showed us around and was super friendly. The top-floor room was really comfy and nicely decorated. The breakfast spread was fab, especially the eggs benedict! Just a heads-up, the stairs might be tricky for tall folks.

The breakfast at Denehurst is a proper feast, with Cindy's cooking hitting all the right notes. Just a short stroll took us to fab eateries like Beresford's Pub and The Windermere Ice Cream Co, a must for any sweet tooth. Plus, Ken and Cindy are just lovely!

While the location is lush, having a car made it easier for us to tackle those cheeky hills to Bowness and Windermere. For anyone not quite as sprightly, a taxi might just do the trick, but it didn't put a dampener on our fab stay!

They provided personalized suggestions for local hikes. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of locally sourced options that were delicious. The only improvement I could suggest is to have a more flexible breakfast time to suit individual preferences.
